 Get Paid While You Train!

Kentucky Blood Center offers on-the-job training for all of our positions. Depending on what job you're hired to perform, you will receive job-appropriate training from our staff of certified trainers. In certain departments, if you terminate your employment within one year of being trained, you will be required to repay KBC for a portion of your training.

Individuals applying for phlebotomist positions must complete a two-week training session as a Medical Screener prior to phlebotomy training. Once trained, individuals will work as Medical Screeners for a period of time, to be determined by Area Managers, before being enrolled in phlebotomy training.

Individuals will also be trained on proper packing of products to insure they arrive at the intended destination without compromising the quality of the product.
