Kentucky Blood Center relies solely on volunteer blood donors.
Donor eligibility requirements:
- Donors must be in good health.
- Donors weigh at least 110 pounds.
- Donors must be at least 16 years of age. Parental permission is required for 16-year old donors. Download the parental permission form.
- Donors must show a photo I.D., such as a driver's license, school I.D. or other government identification.
Travel in some areas and medications can sometimes defer donors. Download the medication and travel information forms.
