The Kentucky Blood Center (KBC) Hospital Services Department works closely with Kentucky hospitals to serve patients, hospitals and the community. KBC provides blood and blood products to nearly 70 hospitals and clinics in central and eastern Kentucky.

The blood products distribution department serving Kentucky hospitals and clinics, KBC Hospital Services is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week to ensure hospital needs are met at all times.

Hospital Services staff are trained to ensure all hospital orders arrive at the intended destination without compromising the quality of the product. The staff manages the blood supply inventory across the KBC service area to best meet the needs of hospitals and patients.
