Join Kentucky Blood Center and WUKY as we celebrate Halloween with Operation Pumpkin. We have several events planned throughout October to provide family-friendly fun and raise awareness of the need for blood products in Kentucky. Operation Pumpkin will culminate with Halloween in Gratz Park on October 28. Enjoy live music, food, and a costume contest ... and help save lives!

Saturday, October 15
Lexington Farmer's Market
10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Decorate pumpkins from local growers. The pumpkins will be given to children in local hospitals.

Saturday, October 22
Keeneland Racetrack
11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Bring the kids for foam pumpkin decorating. Their artwork will be used to decorate area hospitals.

Friday, October 28
Halloween in Gratz Park
8:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Join us for live music, food, and spirits. Dress to impress - and frighten - for a costume contest. You can also bid on pumpkins decorated by local celebrities.
