Summer isn't over yet at Kentucky Blood Center. 

KBC's "Save Our Summer" campaign will continue just a little longer with a "Donor Appreciation Day" on Friday. All donors who give blood Sept. 15 at a KBC donor center will receive a $20 Amazon gift card as a thank you for saving local lives.

KBC’s Donor Appreciation Days are taking place this summer to counter historically poor turnout weeks during a period of traditionally high need.
