KBC-GreenHouse17 Partner to Save Kentucky Lives

Healing Together logo
November 25th - December 14th

Kentucky Blood Center donors can maximize their donation and support another important community need this holiday season thanks to a partnership with GreenHouse17, our local nonprofit domestic violence shelter.

At select KBC locations Nov. 25 through Dec. 14, donors can double their impact by opting to give the value of their donor thank you item to GreenHouse 17. KBC donors generously save lives throughout the year, and the “Healing Together” campaign will provide additional resources to GreenHouse17 in its mission to help people harmed by intimate partner abuse.

For more information on GreenHouse17, please see below.

Donors can give and give again at Lexington's Beaumont or Andover donor centers, KBC's Frankfort location or at select mobile drives taking place in the GreenHouse17’s service area.

To participate and schedule an appointment, please see below for a full list of participating locations. Donors can also call 800.775.2522.

Blood donors must be at least 17 years old (16 with parental consent), weigh at least 110 pounds, be in general good health, show a photo I.D. and meet additional requirements. Appointments are preferred but walk-ins are welcome.
