Kentucky Blood Center and WDRB are proud to partner for the 2023 WDRB Give Blood Drive.

Donate blood June 28-29 at KBC's two convenient Louisville locations (appointment links below) and help boost the summer blood supply.

Summer is traditionally a difficult time of the year for the blood supply. Between warm-weather activities, family vacations and no school, summer historically leads to lower donor turnout as need remains consistent and often increases.

Local hospitals have seen a rise in transfusions to the start of summer. KBC has felt the effects with recent blood shortages for multiple blood types, putting local patients at risk.  

Donors who give at the Middletown or Hillview donor centers in Louisville June 28-29 during the WDRB Give Blood Drive will receive two movie tickets and a coupon for a free pint of Blue Bell ice cream.

All donors who give blood June 28-29 at the Middletown or Hillview donors centers will receive a coupon for a free pint of ice cream from Blue Bell as well as two Cinemark movie passes. WDRB will also feature giveaways at each of the two Louisville locations.
