It's a summer of blockbusters at Kentucky Blood Center, and you're the star of the show!

Heroes like you are needed to boost the summer blood supply. For your starring role in saving local lives, KBC will provide you with two movie tickets when you donate blood at a KBC donor center June 25–July 5.

Blood donations historically dwindle during the summer because of warm-weather activities, family vacations and no school. The need for blood doesn’t take a break, however, and transfusion levels often increase as donation frequency decreases.

Summer of Saving Continues!

The hit of the summer may be KBC's Summer of Saving giveaways. Those who give blood in June will be entered to win free gas for a year, plus all donors will receive a buy one, get one free coupon for a slice of pizza from Clark's Pump-N-Shop. July donors will be entered to win free Texas Roadhouse for a year, and all donors will get a coupon for a free appetizer from Texas Roadhouse.
