Morgan County Community Blood Drives

Morgan County, Kentucky Blood Center needs you to save local lives! Your generosity ensures KBC can provide lifesaving blood to more than 70 hospitals in Kentucky, including Morgan County ARH Hospital. 

One in four people will need a blood transfusion in their lifetime for everything from traumas to premature births, surgeries, organ transplants, diseases such as cancer and sickle cell disease, and so much more. Your decision to spend 45 minutes with KBC for a blood donation ensures Kentuckians have the lifesaving blood products when they need it, where they need it. 

KBC partners with West Liberty Christian Church to offer monthly blood drives. Please see the upcoming dates below and schedule your appointment.

Blood donors must be at least 17 years old (16 with parental consent), weigh at least 110 pounds, be in general good health, show a photo I.D. and meet additional requirements. Sixteen-year-old donors must have a signed parental permission slip, which can be found at kybloodcenter.org.

Appointments are preferred but walk-ins are welcome. In addition to the online links above. donors may also call 800.775.2522 to schedule an appointment.
