LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky won the seventh annual Big Blue Slam, 1,500 to 1,473, and now leads the competition against Florida fans, four to three.

“Thanks to the Big Blue Nation for turning out this week. It’s evident the No. 1 team has the No. 1 fans and those fans have assured a strong blood supply for Kentucky patients,” said Martha Osborne, Kentucky Blood Center’s executive director of marketing and recruitment.

Big Blue Slam is a friendly competition between Kentucky and Florida and Kentucky Blood Center and LifeSouth Community Blood Center in Gainesville.
