Kentucky Blood Center and Fayette County Public Schools are teaming up for the third annual FCPS Blood Battle, a competition between the six traditional high school in Lexington to see which school can register the most blood donors.
Students will compete through blood drives at their school (dates listed below) for bragging rights, a traveling trophy and ultimatley to save local lives.
Tates Creek High School has won the first two editions of the battle. Who has what it takes to win the trophy this year? Show your school spirit and donate blood!
Participating High Schools
School blood drives are closed to the public but students are encouraged to donate on the following dates. Donors must be at least 17 years old (16 with parental consent), weigh at least 110 pounds, be in good health, show a photo I.D. and meet additional requirements.
