Dolly Parton, an American singer-songwriter, actress and businesswoman, died on Aug. 25. No matter your class, gender, religion, musical genre or political views, Parton transcended not just because of her iconic musical talent, but because of her authenticity, philanthrophy and universal kindness.

In rememberance of "the Queen of Country," Kentucky Blood Center is dubbing Friday, Sept. 4 "Donate Like Dolly" Day at its donor center locations. To honor Dolly's propensity to give to others, KBC donors can give blood in her memory. And now, because of high demand, we are bringing back to the shirts Sept. 28–Oct 3. 

All donors who give at a KBC donor center Sept. 4 or Sept. 28–Oct. 3 or will receive a commemorative "Donate Like Dolly" T-shirt, and a $5 donation will be made to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. T-shirts are while supplies last. 

Most KBC donor centers are open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Please check specific locations below or call 800.775.2522 to schedule your appointment.

Donors must be at least 17 years old (16 with parental consent), weigh at least 110 pounds, be in good health, show a photo I.D. and meet additional requirements.
