LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky donors showed they believe big in blue by defeating Florida in the second annual Big Blue Slam, 1,543 to 1,481.

Friday’s turnout of 351 donors was the biggest of the week for Kentucky Blood Center. Florida’s LifeSouth Community Blood Center had 288 donors on the last day of the competition.

Everyone who registers to donate at Kentucky Blood Center during March is eligible to win a ticket package to the NCAA Final Four in Indianapolis.

Donors must be at least 16 years old (with parental permission), weigh 110 pounds and be in general good health.
