LEXINGTON, KY – Blood donors can get a real thrill from donating blood Friday. Not only will they be saving lives, they could earn a ticket to Kings Island.
Kentucky Blood Center has launched the KBC Kings Island Club. Blood donors who give at the KBC donor center in Lexington on Friday May 30 and reschedule another life saving donation before Aug. 30, 2008 will receive a free ticket to Kings Island.
“There are a limited number of tickets available, so we hope to see a good turnout this Friday,” said KBC spokesperson Jim Tinker. “Blood supplies are slipping too low and people can make a difference in someone’s life and have some fun for themselves too.”
To join the Kings Island Club:
- Donate at the Lexington Blood Donor Center on May 30, 2008.
- While there, make an appointment to donate again before Aug. 30, 2008.
- Receive a free Kings Island ticket, compliments of Paramount's Kings Island.
The Kentucky Blood Center’s Lexington donor center is located at 3121 Beaumont Centre Circle. It is open Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
