Blood Donors Can Save Lives, Help Children

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Harley-Davidson of Pikeville and Kentucky Blood Center are teaming up this Saturday to save lives and support Shriners Hospitals for Children in Lexington.

A blood drive from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. is part of the Hillbilly Christmas in July at Harley-Davidson of Pikeville, located at 114 Harley Drive. All blood donors will receive a $10 Speedway Gas Card and a Harley-Davidson T-shirt.

Blood donors will also have the opportunity to forgo their $10 gift card from KBC, and KBC will donate the value of the card to Hillbilly Christmas in July. They can also purchase a $20 raffle ticket for a chance to win a new Harley-Davidson motorcycle, donated by Harley-Davidson of Pikeville.

Donors 18 and over who register to donate through Sept. 13 will be automatically eligible to win a 2013 Toyota Prius, the grand prize in KBC’s Drive for Life summer promotion.
