Kentucky Blood Center Hosts Inaugural Blood Run 5K on Saturday Aug. 20, 2015

Family-Friendly Race Will Begin and End at KBC

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky Blood Center is hosting its first-ever Kentucky Blood Run 5K Saturday at 6:30 p.m. in Beaumont Centre.

The family-friendly race and 1-mile fun walk will begin and end at the blood center (3121 Beaumont Centre Circle) with the majority of the race on the shaded Beaumont Neighborhood Association Trail. Strollers and dogs on leashes are welcome. The race will be chip-timed by 3-Way Racing.   

Registration the day of the race will be 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Kentucky Blood Center in Beaumont. Runners will receive dry fit tech shirts, and overall and age group awards will be presented after the race.
