Pulaski County School Superintendent Joins KBC Board Dec. 13, 2013

Steve Butcher Will Join the KBC Board of Directors Effective Jan. 1

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Pulaski County Schools Superintendent Steve Butcher will join the Kentucky Blood Center board of directors effective Jan. 1. KBC’s 20 member volunteer board provides oversight of the not-for-profit blood center.

“We are excited to have Steve join the blood center’s board. The Somerset region is an important part of our service area, and Steve will add a needed Somerset perspective to our team,” said KBC Board Chairman Dr. Sam McGee.

KBC has donor centers in Somerset, Lexington and Pikeville, and operates numerous daily blood drives throughout the region. KBC’s new facility in Somerset is located at 10 Stonegate Centre.
