Total Grace Baptist Church Teams Up With KBC for Blood Drive April 12, 2017

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Total Grace Baptist Church invites the public to celebrate Easter with a blood drive, egg hunt, food, prizes and more at Castlewood Park on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Kentucky Blood Center will have a bloodmobile at the park, located at 201 Castlewood Drive, during the event. “We’ll also have thousands of Easter eggs for the children,” said Tayna Fogle, the church’s Family Resource Leader. She added that the church hopes to greet families from all over Lexington for this Easter Saturday event.

Blood donors must be 17 years old (16 with parental consent), weigh at least 110 pounds, be in general good health, show a photo I.D. and meet additional requirements. Sixteen-year-old donors must have a signed parental permission slip, which can be found at kybloodcenter.org.
