“It’s important to keep the blood supply strong, especially through the holidays,” said Bill Reed, KBC president and CEO. “Even though many of us are focused on enjoying this time of year, the demand for blood doesn’t relax. Surgeries, emergencies, and traumas all continue, and it’s our mission to make sure our hospitals and patients have blood available at all times. We want to thank our generous donors and encourage them to give blood during the next few weeks.”

Donation locations and hours of operation can be found at kybloodcenter.org or by calling 800.775.2522.
